I just got a good deal on 2 palm pilots through a little sneaky dealing.
See, staples.com has a 155% price matching policy. buy.com has dirt
cheap prices, but charges ~$35 for overnight delivery, so staples will
match the buy.com price + $35, and discount an additional 55% of the
price difference between staples and buy.com.
Staples ships things overnight for free, so that's why you have to add in
the overnight shipping costs of whatever you're price matching.
So right now you can get a p3 for ~$220 with this deal.
But, if staples can't ship overnight to your area, like our area fell into
this category (wheaton), then the price drops to ~$175 for a p3.
Pretty cool huh?
And staples is very reliable in sending things out and doing what they
promise to do, so this is a sure thing. Unlike buy.com, which I have
heard regularly sells out of inventory but still lists items as being in
stock, you'll get your product with Staples.
